Funding: 501(c)(3) organizations may submit one application for review in any 12-month period. Grants awarded range from $1,000 – $25,000.
The primary focus of the Lee Bank Foundation is the reduction of the opportunity and wealth gap for youth and families in Berkshire County. Our grants fund organizations that are committed to creative and original approaches to serving the community. Examples of areas of interest for the Foundation are:
Priority is given to organizations that support and empower low-to-moderate income residents. Preference is given to organizations that offer opportunities for Berkshire County residents and receive the majority of their funding from local sources. Although we may occasionally fund general operating expenses and capital projects, this is rare.
If you are submitting a joint application with a second organization or if you have a fiscal agent, please list their name and contact information.
Organizations may only receive grant funding once in a 12-month period. In order to support the broadest range of community organizations, the Lee Bank Foundation has a provision that organizations may only receive funding for the same program for 3 consecutive years. Once an organization has received their third year of funding for the same program, they must either reapply for a new program or take a year off from applying for grant funding.

The following documents are required to accompany this application: Program budget detailing anticipated and confirmed funding sources, previous year's audited financials, current year's operating budget (*LBF will not fund more than 50% of any project). Sample Program Budget
